The Byre gallery in south-east Cornwall exhibits stunning works of design-led craft and contemporary fine art by leading and emerging makers and artists from throughout the UK.
The Byre is open three times a year with exhibitions held in spring, summer and at Christmas; the gallery is a must-visit destination for all lovers of fine art and contemporary craft in ceramics, glass, jewellery, metals and textiles.
An exhibition at the Byre shows art and craft in a recognisable – but stylised – domestic context: each exhibition is specially curated to give a suggestion of how art and craft can look in the home rather than shown in a more traditional gallery setting.
